Fernando Mora
With over four decades of field and advisory experience, Fernando is a globally recognized authority in international humanitarian and human rights law. His career has been dedicated to navigating some of the world’s most complex conflict zones and fragile environments—where law, diplomacy, conflict prevention, and geopolitics converge.
A specialist in civilian protection, peacebuilding, and resource-related conflict, Fernando has advised heads of state, senior policymakers, and leading global institutions including the United Nations, OSCE, Council of Europe, and the International Crisis Group. He has also worked closely with the ICRC, OECD, WHO, and numerous national governments—offering strategic guidance rooted in legal expertise and deep intercultural insight.
Since 2010, his focus has expanded to the geopolitical implications of emerging technologies—artificial intelligence, digitalization, and nanotechnology—and their impact on global power structures and human rights. With a background that includes service on both domestic and international judicial benches, he brings legal depth and systems thinking to these evolving domains.
As a futurologist, Fernando draws on a multidisciplinary foundation—spanning law, technology, sociology, economics, biology, and exopolitics—to explore the trajectories of global change. He doesn’t merely interpret emerging trends; he anticipates their convergence and consequences. His work equips decision-makers with the foresight needed to navigate disruption, mitigate risk, and seize strategic opportunity in an age of accelerated transformation.
